Data Lead

Job description

We’re looking for a data lead to help us build and maintain our country-scale supply chain services and ensure availability of life-saving commodities across public health and pharmacy networks. Our ideal data lead will be an experienced cross-functional collaborator and able to contribute to:

Data products - You will play a lead role in exploring our near-realtime historical and operational data to derive meaningful operational and commercial insights, and assemble reports for internal and external clients

Data driven tools - You will support operational and business decisions by developing and iterating on data-driven components for our supply chain platform, modelling phenomena such as demand patterns, product and client clustering and price elasticity, and working with the engineering team to put these models into production use

Data management - Working with our engineering team, your job will include defining and driving database schema - and where appropriate, infrastructure - optimisation to support our routine and ad hoc analytics

As a lead you will support junior data support staff, and will work closely with data and application engineers.

Note that at Field, analytics drive many parts of our country operations. Our data lead will be providing models and analytical solutions to drive these operations, so while we strive to protect space for exploratory research and model development, the role will include working with ops and engineering teams on the implementation and iteration of live tools as well.
