Marketing Lead

As Field’s global marketing lead, you will work directly with the founders and leadership team to develop our marketing department from the ground up, design strategies to accelerate the efforts of our talented sales team to achieve our abitious growth goals, and help establish Field as the leading healthcare services brand in Africa.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing into one of Field’s core strengths and key advantages

    • Build the department, defining and filling key roles
    • Ensure successful onboardings and team trainings
    • Develop qualitative and quantitative frameworks, guidelines, and standards for company-wide marketing activities
  • Design, budget, staff, coordinate, and monitor marketing strategies including

    • Online and offline
    • Sales enablement
    • Post-sales and cross-selling
  • Direct and manage content creation and market and client communications
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Design, Data, and Product teams to fulfill marketing strategies, develop marketing infrastructure and tools, and support adjacent initiatives
  • Manage necessary stakeholders (e.g., press ) and service providers (e.g., PR agencies)
  • Prepare routine reports for the CEO and participate in company leadership team meetings and planning sessions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in marketing or growth-focused communications roles
  • Prior team building and management experience with proven results
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and data management and analysis skills
  • Supurb written and communication skills, English fluency (native or C2 equivalent)
  • Extensive Africa and/or emerging market experience

Preferred

  • Prior healthcare or pharmaceutical experience
  • Fluency in other relevant languages (e.g., Swahili, French, Arabic, Hausa, Yoruba)
  • MBA or other advanced degree in marketing, communications, information systems, or other relevant specializaiton
  • Proficiency in SQL
