Supply Chain Lead

As Field’s global supply chain lead, you will work directly with the founders and leadership team to take Field’s operational capabilities to the next level. With the largest and fastest growing vendor-managed-inventory network of pharmacies in Africa, and ambitious growth plans across the continent, you will play a pivotal role in building the teams, processes, and technologies to deliver scale, profit, and impact goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Field’s supply chain into Africa’s premiere health care supply chain services company
  • Direct and manage “Plan to Profit” implementation of Shelf Life service delivery, including

    • Forecasting and demand planning
    • Supply and delivery planning
    • Procurement and inventory management
    • Invoicing and collections/receivables management
  • Manage and develop your implementation teams in each country, including refinement of performance management frameworks and reporting structures
  • Monitor and analyze operational data from across the enterprise to ensure process adherence and efficiency, including refinement of analytical frameworks to drive continuous improvement in key performance areas
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, working closely with Market, Data, Product, and Accounting teams to coordinate implementation, deliver new important new features, and support adjacent initiatives
  • Prepare routine reports, proposals, and provide strategic guidance for the CEO and participate in company leadership team meetings and planning sessions

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, channel management, order-to-cash management role
  • Prior team building and management experience with proven results
  • Excellent quantitative reasoning and data management and analysis skills
  • Supurb written and communication skills, English fluency (native or C2 equivalent)

Preferred

  • Prior Africa and/or emerging market experience
  • Experience working with software teams, product development
  • MS or PhD in industrial and systems engineering, information sytems, or other relevant technical field
  • SixSigma or other process management qualifications
  • Proficiency in SQL
