Transport & Logistics Manager - Lagos

Shelf Life is changing how the pharmaceutical industry works in Africa to improve access to quality medicine at scale. As a Transport & Logistics Manager , you will be required to coordinate shipments and daily operations of our fulfilment partners, in counts, deliveries, pick and pack processes at the central sort. This will involve scheduling drivers, coordinating routes, supervising loading and unloading, and dealing with any problems as they pop up. The Transport & Logistics Manager is expected to have a good people management skill as you will be supervising fulfilment partners across all Markets in Nigeria


  • Oversee scheduling and dispatch of shipments to regional hubs and operating territories from central sort facility
  • Negotiate/Manage ShelfLife relationship with third-party logistics providers
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations for pharmaceutical products and good distribution practice
  • Facilitate 3PL and Fulfilment Partners training and re-certification workflow
  • Monitor performance, prepare ad-hoc & routine reports for management
  • Plans for changes to schedule and policies
  • Maintain relevant shipping documentation for tracking inventory in transit and loss prevention


  • Education - Minimum: BSc/HND/PGD or Equivalent
  • Experience - 2-3 years in a similar within Pharma, FMCG/retail industry
  • Must have previous experience in a logistic set up
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office / Google Suite
  • Decision making and problem solving skills
