Experience and excitement required, but this job is rich with unique opportunities for skill development in supply chain and data management and significant career advancement!\n"},"body":{"childMarkdownRemark":{"html":"<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Supporting Procurements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out procurement activities with a particular focus on monthly procurement as well as ad hoc procurement.</li>\n<li>Supervise all inbound processes and ensure accurate documentation.</li>\n<li>Ensure efficiency and consistency in procurement processes.</li>\n<li>Ensure optimal stock level at all times by facilitating weekly top-up procurement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supplier Engagement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in onboarding new suppliers and maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.</li>\n<li>Foster supplier relationships through regular communication, biannual reviews, and performance assessments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Order Follow-Up:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure timely delivery by following up on orders sent to suppliers.</li>\n<li>Track and document all invoices, addressing any disputes by escalating them to the supplier/buyer agent. This includes identifying the nature of the dispute and gathering all relevant documentation, communicating with the supplier to discuss the issue and possible resolutions and collaborating with internal teams to verify the dispute details.</li>\n<li>Ensure product availability and secure promotional discounts from suppliers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supplier Price Review and Updates:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct supplier price reviews on a quarterly basis to ensure competitive pricing.</li>\n<li>Ensure price updates are accurately recorded and communicated to relevant teams.</li>\n<li>Maintain an up-to-date supplier inventory list, promptly adding new products.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supplier Performance Tracking:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, using data to drive procurement process improvements.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with team members to ensure supplier deliverables are met.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Risk Management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to address them.</li>\n<li>Continuously monitor and assess risks to proactively manage potential issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Procurement Support:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support with other procurement-related initiatives and tasks as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc or HND in any Discipline, preferably Pharmacy, Procurement &#x26; Supply Chain Planning</li>\n<li>Experience in data or database management preferred</li>\n<li>Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Program support a plus</li>\n<li>Exceptional communications skills, team player</li>\n<li>Customer-service oriented, great attention to detail</li>\n<li>Based full-time in Lagos State</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.</strong> </p>\n<p><strong>Field is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from qualified individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.</strong></p>"}},"formLink":null}},"pageContext":{"slug":"procurement-operations-associate"}},"staticQueryHashes":[]}
